Born in Oaxaca, on July 7th, 1959. With more than 45 years creating pieces with ceramics, at the age of 14, he learned the local techniques of his town San Jerónimo Siacayoapilla to work with clay, a well-known town in the area for manufacturing various utensils for daily use such as: molcajetes, jugs, pots, comales, etc. Much of his applied knowledge in his pottery is empirical. In 1975 he began to turn and with the arrival in the Oaxaca region of a Japanese potter named Fumio Takahara, his work took an important turn, beginning an apprenticeship that over the years has grown call High Temperature Ceramics.
