A handmade olla by master potter Fabian Ortiz from Mata Ortiz, Chihuahua, Mexico. This ceramic olla is made with ancient traditions from the village of Mata Ortiz in Chihuahua, Mexico. The clay is mined from the Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range, hand-coiled and painted with natural dye paint. Fabian Ortiz is the very talented son of first-generation Mata Ortiz artist Nicolas Ortiz. Fabian is known for his non-traditional colors and striking designs.
