Pineda Matus was born in Oaxaca, Mexico on August 5th, 1968. His pieces combine animal themes with geometric shapes and offer a lot of color. They also reflect the Afro-Mexican culture and its traditions. However, his greatest inspiration comes from what he experiences in his day to day life.
