Jacobo and Maria Angeles are artisans proudly from Oaxaca, creators of Zapotec figures carved in wood called Tonas and nahuales known worldwide as “alebrijes”. Jacobo and his wife use the Mixtec-Zapotec iconography in their pieces creating a unique style that it has developed over more than 25 years.
